then it was Donna Loren  that got the job as 
Dr Pepper Girl with a five year contract,her 
name on billboards,magazines,television,and
movies,for Dr Pepper who was the new cool
teenage spokesman for Dr Pepper.
    In 1963 through 1968 as wonderful teen 
Dr Pepper Girl was Donna Loren.She is so
talented and pretty,and could blow away any
adult singer,like a hurricane on ocean beach.
She was dynamite that could explode with her

tempestuous  dynamic versatile voice.
    Dick Clark's  Dr Pepper Celebrity Party
came out.Dick Clark hosting this party.This

with see through sleeves and ready with love in
in her voice to sing a wonderful song that is so
beautiful to listen to and that moves us.This is
Moonbeams,and you can hear this pretty back
up singer who seasons carefully the song, that
has the correct sound to enhance Annette's
voice.This move our hearts and minds in this
cute song.Annette is gesturing to us with her
whole body to help us get into the song and
capture us in it's living beauty of style and it's
grace.She nails the song.We are now hooked,
which does do make us really jubilant,that we
want more.Yes we love Annette Funicello who

finished singing, and it is extremely chilly,and
the you see Annette Funicello is freezing out-

to Annette,since he has on his mind the very
things that is very pertinent that she wants to
really accomplish in her career,that she wants
to do to make a real big difference to be very
successful.So  Dick Clark is very concerned 
about how Annette is being lonely and cold,
and  then  says to Annette,"Is it lonely on the
patio out here?" "Ya" "Sit down for a second."
"Is it chilly like this in California this time of
the year?" "Not usually,I think it is colder
than we mostly haveit.""You know we have a
second inside before to talk and ah and you
got a couple of motion pictures work out,first
tell me about Mr.Disney.""I'm still under 
contract to Mr.Disney nonexclusive,which
means I am permitted to do outside films."
"You are about to do one, are you not following 
the suggestions of Beach Party?"Right, Frankie
Avalon are working together again in one called
Muscle Beach Party.""Is that the one with John
Ashley?"Yes,Johnny's in it too." "And they're
all inside." "I'll get to them in a second." "Do you
surprise people what happen to your Micky 
Mouse ears?" "Now the shows being rerun again
for the new generation who think I'm twelve years
old."How old are you?""I just turned 21 last
week."

Annette Funicello.Annette meets Dick Clark and
she is freezing.She has him meet Dick Dale in her
coat,inside,where she is holding the coat to stay
warm next to Dick Dale who is in the beach movie
Muscle Beach Party, that Frankie Avalon,John
Ashley,and even Donna Loren would star in too.

with the surfin' craze and wild wonderful

you handle young people?You do a great job
of it." "Well actually I felt the secret behind
the whole thing,I let them know my problems

    Dick Clark said Mr. Avalon,he had asked
Frankie Avalon if he surfed?Frankie said he 
surfed a little in the morning with John Ashley
before shooting this movie on set. Dick Clark 
next,introduces both John, and Debbie Ashley,
who is to play in a movie"Young Lovers", in
which Debbie plays a young lover.Dick Clark
asked Donna Loren, "what are you talking 
about,'when talking  to Wayne Newton.She 
said:"Just reminiscing,we worked together
twice and went to school."So Clark asked 
Wayne Newton if he was still in school.He
said no.Dick Clark asked him his age.He
said 21.Dick Clark ask Wayne Newton 
about the crescendo.Wayne Newton said:
" I had played in the Copa Lounge for

latest movie they were filming,it was the cool
Muscle Beach Party.(1964) Originally they were
not going to give Donna Loren any lines,but
show a bottle of Dr Pepper.Instead she sang 
with cool Dick Dean, Muscle Bustle,but the whole
gang is involved beach dancing.Yes,I even found
a lady in white Keds Champions Tennis Shoes.

who are best friends in the Frankie and Annette
